Over the past few years we've seen big name designers like Yves Saint Laurent, Burberry, Gwen Stefani for Lamb, and others using Ankara (African wax prints) in their collections.

This growing trend is one of my favs as African textiles are so rich in texture, pattern and color that you can't help but feel anything other than vibrant and daring when sporting the dramatic prints in one of the latest styles.

While perusing the web I came across a New York based fashion designer, Reuben Reuel, whose use of African wax prints and vintage-inspired silhouettes left me drooling!
